After leaving the car company which I worked for many years,

I decided to step into another world related to Japanese tea.

Because I felt a strong sense of crisis,

By knowing the actual situation of Japanese tea industry.

 

Tea production in Japan has been declining for the past ten years,

The tradition is being lost that has been nurtured over a long history.

Without any action, Japanese tea will become a thing of the past.

 

To change this situation,

What can I do as a guy who doesn’t know about green tea?

I asked myself, and the answer was "Sayama Green Tea School".

 

Because I am an amateur of tea, 

I thought I may be able to convey the good things about green tea

 To another amateur, so that they can easily understand that. 

 

With the cooperation of tea farmers in Sayama,

I materialized my ideas to the experience program.

 

I wish everyone in the world would come over here

And help to inherit Japanese tea tradition toward the future.
